"Act Naturally" is a song written by Johnny Russell and Vonnie Morrison, originally recorded by Buck Owens, and later covered by The Beatles on their Help! album. The Beatles' version is sung by Ringo Starr, and they performed the song on The Ed Sullivan Show.
The Beatles recorded the song on June 17, 1965 in 13 takes, the master take being Take 13. It was remixed the following day.
In the US, "Act Naturally" was the B-side of the "Yesterday" single, and it was not until June 1966 that those two songs were included on a Capitol album, Yesterday... and Today.
