Talk:Acquiesce

[edit] Changes re: The NME, The Sun and references.
1) First of all, it's better to put 'Acquiesce is set to be a single' as it hasn't yet been officially confirmed. I don't consider online retailers to be official confirmation, although the fact that at least 4 different retailers all have the same information tells us that official confirmation is almost certain to be coming soon (in this case probably on September 11, when the album tracklisting is officially announced). Because of this, the reference to 'Acquiesce is set to be a single' should be one of those online retailers and not The Sun / The NME as...
2) The NME's article is just repeating exactly what the Sun said, with no different details whatsoever. Therefore, both articles don't need to be listed as references, only one will do. Also, The Sun's Oasis articles cannot be wholly trusted (see the Stop the Clocks page for recent history of this.
3) In the 'Tracklisting' section, there doesn't need to be a repeated reference, as it has already been referenced in the opening paragraphs (in this case, to hmv.co.jp).--Mr. Monobrow 16:05, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
