Acousticophilia

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Acousticophilia is a form of paraphilia where sexual arousal is derived from sounds like music, poems or foreign-language chitchat. People with this condition usually have a specific interest, such as female Japanese conversation. This extremely rare paraphilia was mentioned in Cosmopolitan (Australia) July 2005.

In the film, A Fish Called Wanda, the character of Wanda Gershwitz displays acousticophilia.
