[edit] Vanity articles
Please don't create articles about yourself or your friends. We're building an encyclopedia here, and it's very unlikely that your article fits in with that. Creating such articles also makes work for others as we rush to delete them. The Wikipedia policy on vanity articles can be reviewed here and here and the reason your article was deleted can be reviewed here. If you need any more information about this, please visit this page. Thanks.➨ ❝REDVERS❞ 18:48, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Deleted articles
Hi Ackehallgren. I really don't see what I can add to the above. I've explained fully, giving you 4 pages of policy and guidelines, plus one specially written page explaining my reasoning. I'm afraid I can't offer you anything more than that, other than to say that 3 admins deleted your article on 3 occasions, all giving the same reason: vanity articles are not allowed.
Here is our standard welcome message that has hints and tips on what types of articles are allowed:

[edit] Mister Kite
Here is the text of the article that was deleted three times by three different administrators for being non-notable.
You really will have to prove notability and verifiability before it can go up again. I understand your attempting to appeal to my better nature, but it's pointless: it's not that I don't have one (I'm a pussycat really), it's just that Wikipedia has clear rules and guidelines about what can and can't get into our encyclopedia. These rules have been developed over years by hundreds of people coming to a consensus over them. I am unable to tear them up for you or anyone else. ➨ ❝REDVERS❞ 20:04, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
- Hi again. You really will have to prove notability and verifiability before it can go up again. That's my last word on the subject. ➨ ❝REDVERS❞ 11:04, 9 April 2006 (UTC)

- Nope, you're still not grasping it, are you? You've given me a pile of links to go through so I can prove notability. I have no reason to do so. You do, so you are the one that needs to do the hard work.
-
- Here's a suggestion. Below this is the text of the article as it stood when it was deleted for the third time by a third different person for non-notability. Edit the text below, providing the assertions of notability in the text itself. Provide links to credible, independent web pages for each assertion (do it in this format:
-
-
They had a number 12 hit in Finland in 1989 with "This Song" [http://www.example.com/pagewithproofonit.htm], and a number 23 for the album "This Album" in Estonia in 1990 [http://www.anotherexample.com/pagewithproofonit.htm].
-
-
- If you do it that way, people can tell at a single click that notability has both been asserted and is verifiable). You'll have done the hard work, rather than expecting others to do it for you.
-
- I'll put this page on my watchlist, so I'll be able to see when you've finished the article. If you really can prove notability and verifiability, then we'll go on from there.
-
- Remember, there's no point appealing to my better nature over this: I'm just enforcing Wikipedia policies and guidelines that have been developed over several years by hundreds of editors reaching a consensus. I have not made a unilateral decision and thus cannot be convinced to change my mind - my mind was never made up in the first place! ➨ ❝REDVERS❞ 14:08, 9 April 2006 (UTC)

- Now look. Scroll down. The text of the article is below. As I said above, make the changes to the text BELOW and we'll go on from there. I am not unlocking the article until after you have proven notability - you have posted this article 3 times without including notability of any sort, I'm not going to let you do it again. But you can edit the text of the article BELOW in the way I advised you ABOVE and we can move the text if notability is proven by you.

[edit] Mister Kite
[edit] Summary
This story was very early a dream and a goal for 5 guys in the very south of Sweden. Some of them struggled in bands without any future. Some played with upcoming stars like Jonas Hansson and the Johansson Brothers. Some played in warm-up bands for Bruce Dickinson and Helloween amongst others.
What these five guys didn't know, was that the dream would become a realization for them in the year 2000.
[edit] Members
Alf Wemmenlind Lead vocals
Magnus Kristensson Guitars - Vocals
Tomas Djurfeldt Keyboards - Guitar - Vocals
Mats Bergentz Drums - Vocals
Anton Johansson Bass - Vocals
[edit] All In Time
That year (2000) they had all finally joined Mister Kite and they went into a studio to record their first album. During the recordings Mister Kite hooked up with the people that would prove to be extremely important for the outcome of the album, like; Producer Christer Hermodsson, Coverartist Monowasp, and Lion Music's Lasse Mattsson.
It all went extremely well and in the spring of 2002, the album All In Time was released through Lion Music. Throughout 2002 the reviews came from all over the world and the total amount of nice words, good grades, well-wishing and congratulations where overwhelming.
The ultimate high of 2002 was an invitation to join Dio and his band on their Scandinavian tour, which of course was a truly great experience for the band.
Spring 2003 came, and once again Mister Kite joined forces with afformentioned people for the making of a second album.
[edit] Box Of Fear
Following up from their critically acclaimed debut album "All In Time", Mister Kite and Lion Music, on February 18th 2004 released "Box Of Fear". The album was a dark and progressive album, which was more strict in style than All In Time, but equally great in quality.
[edit] From This Day On
At this time, the band is down to three members; Alf Wemmenlind, Mats Bergentz and Magnus Kristensson. The previous members of the band are still close friends to the remainers.
