Hi, I'm John, and I live in Austin, Texas and work for a major tech company. I did undergrad and my Master's at the University of Illinois in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a focus on computer architecture and operating systems (I'm a Linux fan). I'm also an avid sports fan - men's college basketball (go Illini!), Major League Baseball, NFL football, and, oddly enough, pole vaulting (I was a pole vaulter in high school). I'm also pretty musical - I was also a member of the University of Illinois Marching Illini as a trumpet player during undergrad. I play a little bit of guitar, drum set, and a very, very little bit of piano.
