Acid Titration Apparatus Diagram

H Padleckas has taken the "Image:Titration.png" from Wikipedia, used in the articles Titration and Acid-base titration and modified it on March 18, 2005 to produce this image for proposed use in the Hydrochloric acid article. The previous picture apparently showed a base titrant being added from a burette to an Erlenmeyer flask having an acidic sample with phenolphthalein. This new picture shows an acid titrant being added to a basic sample with phenolphthalein.
