[edit] History
Acid Blues is a collaboration of the music backgrounds of Rock, Soul, Jazz, Funk, and Blues Rock. Pioneers of Acid Blues include: Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream, and Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, and the Stoney Curtis band who are centered around their lead singer/lead guitarist Stoney Curtis who is one of the most impressive Strat players in Acid Blues of today. Stoney Curtis's band is one of the most notable artists today. Lonie Walker is another artist whose albums contain Acid Blues.
Many of the artists of Acid Blues are relatively obscure in American music, with the exception of Jimi Hendrix. Acid Blues does not attract much media attention due to the relative specificity and the novelty of the genre, although it is beginning to attract a greater amount of followers as evidenced with the success of Loney Walker & the Sonny Curtis Band in the 21st century.

The album remasters from the Original Studio Tapes "Experience Hendrix". It mixes his Biggest Hits from the Greatest Guitarist of all Time. The album remains as a memorial to the Acid Blues genre and Rock genre.
[edit] Miles Stone
Miles Stone's Motown Love Songs: Motown Milestones included classics like the Miracles' "Ooh Baby Baby," the Originals' "Baby I'm for Real"-penned and produced for the group by Marvin Gaye-and the Temptations' "Just My Imagination. "Marvin Gaye's own "I'll Take Care Of You" (a 1967 B-side) and former Spinner G. C. Cameron's original version of the Cooley High theme, "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday," was later revived by Boyz II Men as a No. 1 hit in 1991."

Lonie combines rock, soul, funk, jazz and blues. She is a jazz artist that believes in the importance of fun and the energy of rock n' roll. Her music performances were inspired by emotional journeys. Driven by a relationship of intense interaction with the audience, she pushes herself to the breaking point of agony and ecstasy.

Her latest CD, "Change is Good," is her first album with all original tracks. [edit] Stoney Curtis Band
The Stoney Curtis Band is an Acid Blues band whose sounds are growing immediate attention. The Stoney Curtis Band who are on the Shrapnel Records prepare to release the debut album from the veteran blues artist on July 19, 2005. The album title is “Acid Blues Experience” which is a blend of classic blues rock and psychadelic blues rock.
The Stoney Curtis Band have been working the clubs between Los Angeles and Las Vegas for years creating their own brand of psychedelic blues rock, readying their show for the road ahead. Heavily steeped in 60’s/70’s psychedelia, the Stoney Curtis Band have been said to have translated the energy of their phenomenal live show into the grooves of “Acid Blues Experience.”
Stoney Curtis is using the album to tribute to classic rock sounds. Quote: “I was going for the power of Zeppelin, the psycadelia of Cream and the Experience, the flow of Robin Trower Band,” explains Curtis. “We combined it all together with band-mates Charlie (drummer) and Colby (bass) to make it all Stoney Curtis Band.”[2].
Stoney describes where it all began - “It's totally my roots of Chicago". It's my Chicago sound -Hard Rock and Blues. I grew up on the South Side of Chicago before moving to Los Angeles. My friends & I grew up listening to Hard Rock, like UFO, Scorpions, KISS, Sabbath, Deep Purple, etc. as well as the Blues Rock like Robin Trower, Hendrix, Zeppelin and Clapton. Stoney then says "when I saw BB King at Chicago Fest many moons ago that I totally fell in love with the blues." We became engulfed in it. I listened to "Ole Uncle Bill on some pirate station playing all sorts of deep blues. He always said "Sweet as Sugar, Smooth as Silk" I loved that. Then Stevie Ray became huge and everyone started listening to more blues. "Seeing Son Seals when I was a wee teenager down at Blue Chicago off of Rush Street, showed me the power of a bluesman in a small club."
