[edit] Fair use problem with Image:MGS2SolidSnake.jpg
I notice you uploaded the image Image:MGS2SolidSnake.jpg with the {{promotional}} fair use image tag. However, it appears that this tag is totally unrelated to the content of the image, and as a result it may qualify for speedy deletion. Image:MGS2SolidSnake.jpg has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.
If you can find a valid tag that expresses why Image:MGS2SolidSnake.jpg can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the {{promotional}} tag that you have placed on it with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{fairusein|article name that the image is used in}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the image. If the image has been deleted, you can reupload it but please ensure you place the correct tag on it. However, you must not remove the speedy deletion notice. Thank you, and please feel free to continue contributing to Wikipedia. --Stifle (talk) 20:35, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Big Boss early.JPG)
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Big Boss early.JPG. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that your image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If your image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why your image was deleted. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 22:13, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Vandalism warning
Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 22:14, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] i,m an idiot
Sorry i wont touch any tags again , how do you edit the copyrite information , i want the system to know its a screenshot or artwork from a certain site without deleting the tag Sorry again i'm a newbie —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Acethejace (talk • contribs) .
- If it is an artwork from a certain site, then replace {{promotional}} with {{character-artwork}} and add an explanation of where you found it and why it is a fair use of the image. You must also add the web address of the website it came from. Thanks. Stifle (talk) 22:53, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
