Acetone was a southern California based alternative rock/slowcore group with surf and country influences. The band consisted of Richie Lee (bass guitar and most lead vocals), Steve Hadley (guitar and vocals) and Mark Lightcap (drums). Acetone released five records between 1993-2000. Their rise towards popularity was cut short by the suicide of Richie Lee in 2001.
