It is a multi-role aircraft allowing it to take on any role on any battlefield. Because of it's design and wide surface areas, the lift allows for maximum carrying capacity. The materials which it is created out of and how it is structured make it very cost effective, reliable and easy to maintain on the frontlines.
It's design also in corperates two large canards, a blending delta-wing, and three dimensional thrust vectoring nozzles.

The YR-302 is the first aircraft of it's size to use a pheonominal four jet engine system, rather than the typical one or two. The Fregata is the first Fighter jet in history to use this four engine system. It's role is said to be ground attack, though it is capable of operating at ultra-high altitudes.
Due to the engine system the YR-302 can carry extreme loads of ordnance and is equipped with extremely heavy armor. However, as expected, it's fuel consumption rate is extremely high and maintenance on the Fregata is much more difficult compared to other aircraft.
The Fregata is also equipped with two dimensional thrust vectoring on each engine and a modified version of the system known as the COFFIN. The COFFIN system is later seen equipped to almost every military vehicle in the 2040s (see Ace Combat 03: Electrosphere.)

The XR-45 Cariburn's airframe incorporates multiple technologies and designs from countries outside of the Leasath-Aureila area. Exactly how they got it is not known and highly classified.
It can operate at ultra high altitudes, making it an extraodinary interceptor. The Cariburn uses two extremely powerful engines in cooperation with its strengthened forward swept wings, a vertical canard which is located beneath it, an extremely large air intake and two dimensional thrust vectoring to make it one of the most, if not the most, maneuverable aircraft ever made.
The control system in the Cariburn is a modified version of the COFFIN system. But, even with the COFFIN system the Cariburn is still extremely unstable and requires a skilled pilot. The COFFIN system is later seen equipped to almost every military vehicle in the 2040s (see Ace Combat 03: Electrosphere).
It is believed that the XR-45 Cariburn may be a very early prototype of what will one day evolve into Neucom Inc's Radical- series aircraft, the R-101, R-102, and R-103.

The YR-99 is one of the first aircraft, along with the XR-45 and YR-302 to use the COFFIN system. The aircraft is highly maneuverable and it has a more advanced 360 degrees armored cockpit system and may be the earliest version of the COFFIN system that is used in Ace Combat 3. So far, no solid information is found for this type of aircraft. And it's believed that this aircraft is a prototype of the R-101 from Ace Combat 3 due to it's design similarities.

The Fenrir was developed by the Leasath Military, but when they needeed more money for it the Democratic Republic of Leasath decided to invade Aurelia. So in general the Fenrir is the initial reson for the Leasath-Aurelia War. It was called the DOS (Digital Optical Stealth) Fighter. DOS means it can become some-what invisible. It also features Thrust Vectoring Technology. But it can only be used when enemy squadrons are flying it. there are no other current specifications on this aircraft at the time.
