AC Lugano is a Swiss football club based in Lugano. It was founded in 2003 as a result of relegation and financial situation of FC Lugano, which was founded in 1908. They play at the Stadio Cornaredo.

The famous German coach Ottmar Hitzfeld spent there between 1978 and 1980 some of his last years as player.
