This IP is a blanket network by the Dundee City Council which covers, most likely, all of the schools and high schools in the city of Dundee. Constant vandalism, usually childish grafitti from pupils who don't know how Wikipedia works by using mostly either stupid remarks (eg, "Charles Macintosh is A Pure Fukin Gimp!" [sic] and "PUMPS! it [the Korean War] didnt really happen!!! PEEEEEEEFED" [sic]") or blatent self-advertising (eg, "fozzy went to [School name removed for privacy] and was the greatest pupil ever!!!!! and everyone loved him" and "The Advanced Higher Chemistry class of the school is the most intelligent. Four of the pupils have applied to Oxbridge, and two of these have had unconditional offers -- Malcolm [Name removed] and Yang [Name removed]." Many warnings and 13 blocks so far (one currently ongoing), as far as I know, theres an Acceptable Use Policy in place for networks used in Dundee schools. I believe the pupils have broken it and should be punished in some form, and this IP problem dealt with. TheLH 16:33, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

UPDATE: It seems that all of the schools across Scotland will be going under a single intranet called "Glow". This seems to be very serious, as these new IP might be blocked very fast due to vandals from one school, and the rest of Scotland under the network might not be able to edit on Wikipedia. I recommend that Andrew4010 should mention this when contacting DCC. TheLH 15:17, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
