Abu Said Gardezi

Abu Saīd Abdul Hay bin Dhahhak Gardēzī (died c. 1061) was a Persian geographer and historian of the early 11th century from Gardēz (now in Afghanistan) who wrote the book Zayn ul-Akhbār. Gardēzī's work is very important for the Islamic history of eastern Persia.
