[edit] License tagging for Image:The DJ.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:The DJ.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 05:06, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] André Tanneberger singles

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem to me that You're Not Alone (atb) meets these criteria, I have started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/You're Not Alone (atb). Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, an administrator will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. --  Netsnipe  (Talk)  15:37, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] You're Not Alone (atb)

Please do not post copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to You're Not Alone (atb). See Wikipedia:Copyrights. Copyright violations are unacceptable and persistent violators will be blocked. Your original contributions are welcome. --  Netsnipe  (Talk)  19:30, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Long Way Home (atb)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Long Way Home (atb), but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a direct copy from http://www.radikal.com/ATBAddicted.htm. As a copyright violation, Long Way Home (atb) appears to qualify for speedy deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Long Way Home (atb) has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message. If the source is a credible one, please consider rewriting the content and citing the source.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GFDL, you can comment to that effect on Talk:Long Way Home (atb). If the article has already been deleted, but you have a proper release, you can reenter the content at Long Way Home (atb), after describing the release on the talk page. However, you may want to consider rewriting the content in your own words. Thank you, and please feel free to continue contributing to Wikipedia. --  Netsnipe  (Talk)  20:32, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

Hello Abott and welcome once again to Wikipedia. Please make a concerted effort to respect U.S. copyright law, so as not to jeapordize the well being of Wikipedia. Copyright violations will be deleted on sight, but if you continue failing to comply with our Wikipedia:Copyrights policy more serious action may need to be taken. If you have any questions regarding this or any other policy please do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks, Can't sleep, clown will eat me 19:40, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Killer.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Killer.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Nilfanion (talk) 15:51, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
