Abinadi Meza

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Abinadi Meza (b. 1976 Chicago) is a Mexican-American artist based in Minneapolis, USA. [1] His work often uses "ephemeral media such as sound to create transformative spaces" [2] and explore the relationship between "sound, image, and environment."[3] Meza's work also addresses issues of control and agency, especially of artistic mediums and tools used in the production of culture. [4] His sound works, videos, and installations have been presented widely at venues including the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis; the Biennale for Electronic Art, Perth Australia; La Casa Encendida, Madrid; Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin, and Carlos Carvalho Contemporânea, Lisbon.
