Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4, 1974 in Gulf Breeze, Florida) is an American actress. Her first major acting role was playing Rebecca "Becca" Tyree on All My Children. She starred in the Lifetime Original Series Angela's Eyes. The show Angela's Eyes was cancelled by Lifetime on December 1, 2006.

Abigail was born and raised in Gulf Breeze, Florida. She is the middle of three children. She has both a younger and older brother, Sterling and Yancy Spencer. In her early childhood, Abigail entered in the pageant system at the age of 4 and won the state title at the age of 11. She credits this early experience with help dealing gracefully with disappointments.

An accomplished vocalist, Abigail traveled with her church choir in Germany in her freshman year in 1989 at Gulf Breeze High School. A highlight of her sophomore year was her audition into the Broadway Theatre Project in 1990, helmed by Ann Reinking. Along with continuing to study drama and dance, her junior year was spent focusing on student government in 1991-1992. It was her senior year high school in 1992 that everything came together for Miss Spencer. Along with choreographing, directing and starring as "Rizzo" in a local production of Grease, she beat out hundreds of other young hopefuls for the role of "Becca" and got call from All My Children. After attending her senior prom and her high school graduation ceremonies, Miss Spencer headed for Manhattan and All My Children. Abigail graduated from Gulf Breeze High School in 1992.
