Abhijit Kale pronunciation  (born July 3, 1973 in Ahmednagar) is an Indian cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm offbreak bowler.

Kale began his career in 1992 for the Indian Under-19s against New Zealand, but Kale struggled to get into the first team for Mumbai. He decided for the sake of his career to move to Maharashtra, for whom he played during the mid-nineties and averaged nearly 60 runs per innings. During the November 2001 tour against England, he managed to top-score for the Indian team, which brought him into the consciousnesses of the selectors.

His next exceptional tour, in 2003 against the West Indies, rewarded him with another shot at performing, until an incident after just one game in November 2003 led him to be embroiled in a bribery scandal.
