Aberfeldie is a residential suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its Local Government Area is the City of Moonee Valley. It is located north of the Maribyrnong River with an area of 1.57 square kilometres, and a population at the 2001 census of 3,364.

Scotsman James Robertson named his property Aberfeldie, located on the corner of Aberfeldie St and Park Crs, after a place in Scotland. When the property was sold in 1888 it became the name of the suburb.

The area has tended to attract families, with its abundance of parks, sporting facilities and the Maribyrnong River. There is a range of detached housing from inter war Californian Bungalows to post war dwellings. Community groups have been active in the suburb since the start of the 20th century. Aberfeldie Bowls Club was established on 16th March 1910. In 1928 the Aberfeldie Progress Association joined with 6 other progress associations to form the Northern Districts Progress Cricket Association. In 1944 the Aberfeldie Community Centre was established, which lead to the formation of the Aberfeldie Sports club, a family oriented club promoting football, cricket, tennis, lawn bowls, gymnastics, swimming and basketball, as well as social and cultural events.

Poynton's Nursery at the corner of The Boulevard and Vida Street is a Garden Centre of some renown attracting keen home gardeners from surrounding suburbs. The Nursery is built on the hillside, with a cafe providing tasty food and outstanding views of the Maribyrnong River and cyclists and walkers on the Maribyrnong River Trail.

The suburb is serviced by three bus routes:

  • 465 Keilor Park - Essendon Station (along Buckley Street)
  • 467 Aberfeldie - Moonee Ponds Station (Departs from the terminus at the corner of Tilba Street and Brunel Street)
  • 468 Essendon Station - Highpoint City Shopping Centre (along Buckley Street)
