Aberaeron Stud

The Welsh cob is an integral part of country life in West Wales & the Aberaeron area.Aberaeron Stud[1] is a small stud based in Aberaeron, West Wales, specialising in Welsh Cobs & Part Bred Performance horses. This stud has had an influence on the Welsh breed & provided many equestrians with a great deal of pleasure on both a competitive & leisure level. The Aberaeron horses have competed at showing, show jumping, cross country, dressage and eventing. Their bloodlines include famous Welsh cobs - Brenin Dafydd, Nebo Black Magic, Derwen Railway Express & Pentre Eiddwen Comet. Started in the 1950's by Alun Evans registrar it was one of the fist Welsh Cob Studs in the Aberaeron area.
