Abdulla Hasan Alaeddin

Abdulla Hasan Alaeddin was a Palestinian civil engineer who held a number of prominent governmental positions, including the Director-General of the Civil Aviation Authority in Jordan.

After obtaining his degree in Civil Engineering from Berlin, Germany, he worked in his hometown of Ramla, and also in Jaffa. In 1948, he settled in Amman, Jordan, where he held a number of positions in the government. After leaving the government service, Alaeddin opened his own engineering firm. His works can be seen among the buildings of Jabal Amman, Al-weibdeh, and Al-Hussein.

Alaeddin was known for his appreciation of classical music and art.
