Shaikh Abdul-Azeez Aal ash-Shaikh (born in Riyadh in 1941) is the current Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is one of the most important Sunni Muslim clerics in the world. The Shaikh suffered from weak eyesight since birth, which he lost completely in 1960. Shaikh Abdul-Azeez Aal ash-Shaikh leads the annual Hajj prayers.

Shaikh Aal ash-Shaikh became a member of the Council of Senior Scholars of Saudi Arabia in 1986 CE. He was later appointed Grand Mufti and head of the Permanent Committee for Islamic Research and Fataawa following the passing away of Shaikh Abdul-Aziz ibn Baaz in 1999 CE (1420 AH).
