Abcoude-Proosdij

Abcoude-Proosdij is a former municipality in the Dutch province of Utrecht. The muncipality was formed in 1815, when the municipality of Abcoude was split into two parts. Abcoude-Proosdij covered the northern part of the former municipality, including the village of Abcoude itself.

In 1941, the municipalities of Abcoude-Proosdij and Abcoude-Baambrugge merged again, to form the present municipality of Abcoude.
