Ab Box

Albert 'Ab' Box (March 8, 1909 – July 30, 2000) was a Canadian professional football halfback, quarterback and punter.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, he played for the Toronto Balmy Beach from 1930-1931 and 1935-1938. From 1932 to 1934, he played for the Toronto Argonauts. He was part of the Grey Cup winning teams of 1930 and 1933. In 1934, he won the Jeff Russel Trophy, as the East division most valuable player.
In 1965, he was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and in 1975 he was inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame.
