Aaron Burckhard
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Aaron Burckhard is a drummer who played with Nirvana in 1987 and played at the band's very first live show at a Raymond, Washington house party that same year. He was not with the group when they recorded their first demo at Reciprocal Recording in Seattle in 1988, but he returned to the lineup for a brief period that spring before being replaced by Chad Channing. He was fired from being the drummer because he had an alcohol problem and he would often get into fights. He also didn't really take the band seriously and usually skipped practice, so Chad Channing took his place. He later played in Attica who released one album in 2005. Burckhard's drumming can be heard on the first five tracks of Nirvana's With the Lights Out.
