A Woman's Right to Shoes is the ninth episode of the sixth season of the HBO television series Sex and the City. It originally aried on August 17, 2003.

Carrie and Stanford attend a baby shower for their friends Kyra and Chuck. Unexpectedly, this family has a "no shoes" in the house rule and forces Carrie to leave her Manolos at the door. Unfortunately, when it comes time for the twosome to leave, Carrie's shoes have been stolen. Kyra offers to pay for the shoes, but declines to pay the full retail of $485. It leaves Carrie to ponder if her life is taboo for being single and having expensive taste, instead of the traditional 2.5 and a white picket fence.

An open vacancy in Miranda's building gives way to temptation. When the sexy Dr. Robert Leeds moves into the building, Miranda gets more than a doctor/patient relationship. As she and Brady battle the chicken pox, Robert takes care of them and gives "special attention" to Ms. Hobbs.

Charlotte and Harry are enjoying their time after the honeymoon, except Charlotte can't stand some of Harry's habits. Mainly it is Harry's teabags lying around the house, and when she tells him that he doesn't have to mind his manners in their home, he runs with it. Harry's walks around the house naked and when she finally is fed up, he agrees to walk around the house with shorts.

Coming full circle, Carrie decides that it is unfair that every time Kyra has registered for an occasion she has received a gift. In turn, Carrie announces her wedding....to herself and registers at Manolo Blahnik. When Kyra receives the request and goes to the store, the only thing on the register is her $485 shoes. Reluctantly, Carrie receives her gift.
