A Winter's Haunting is a 2002 horror novel by American writer Dan Simmons, in which Dale Stewert, a character from "Summer of Night", returns to his hometown to come to terms with his inner demons, in dealing with the death of a childhood friend. The repressed memories from that summer continue to haunt him, as well as his relationships with everyone else.
