Snow White: A Tale of Terror is a 1997 horror film based on the Snow White story. It is considered by some to be the most accurate film to the original Brothers Grimm story. It starred Sigourney Weaver and Sam Neill.
[edit] Plot
The story is set during the Crusades. Snow White is thrown out of her home by her evil stepmother. She travels into the forest and befriends some rough gold miners (unlike the dwarfs as found in several other adaptations), however the evil stepmother is intent on killing her, and almost successfully tries with a poisoned apple.
