[edit] Plot
[edit] Present
Ron Stoppable is looking forward to a new school year, until he learns that his family is moving to Norway. Meanwhile, Lord Monkey Fist convinces Doctor Drakken, Shego, and Duff Killigan to help him find all of the pieces of the Tempus Simia idol, which would enable them to time travel and finally rule the world. Kim tries to stop them, but with Ron out of the picture, fails. Monique tries to help, but that doesn't work, either. After clashing several times around the globe, the villains get the Tempus Simia activated and vanish.
[edit] Past
Rufus 3000, a descendant of Rufus from the future appears and gives Kim a device to let Kim and Ron follow the rogues into the past. With a glimpse into the future, he warns them that unless they are stopped, "The Supreme One" will finally conquer earth.
The villains go back in time to try and stop Kim and Ron from forming "Team Possible". At preschool, using a "Re-Juvenator", Drakken, Monkey Fist and Duff infiltrate the school as children to crush Kim's spirit. A young Ron tries to intervene, only for the villains to turn on him - but this drives Kim to save the day for the first time.
Stymied, they come to Kim's preteen life when she started up KimPossible.com and got her first mission: turning off lasers a billionaire's home in Upperton. As she navigates and turns off the laser web, Monkey Fist brings a giant stone gorilla from the third century to crush not Kim's spirit but Kim herself, only to be interrupted by the teenage present-day Kim and Ron.
While Kim fights a seemingly unwinnable battle with the gorilla, a future Shego appears to her past self, telling her to grab the "time monkey" (the idol) at the next opportunity. Soon after, Ron accidentally reactivates the security lasers, destroying the gorilla. Drakken, Monkey Fist and Duff are arrested, seemingly ending the danger, but Rufus 3000 returns to warn Kim that "The Supreme One" has again escaped into the time stream - Shego got away with the time monkey; she is "The Supreme One".
[edit] Future
Kim and Ron travel to the future, vowing to take the fight to Shego, who has taken control of the future's world. Bueno Nacho has been destroyed, the people are brainwashed, and everybody must dress like The Supreme One. Buying clothes to blend into the "Shegoton", Kim and Ron are nonetheless captured and sent to Obedience Class (Their old school) where Bonnie, now a minion of Shego, tries to re-educate them. Fortunately, just before she can put mind-controlling obedience collars on them, the duo is rescued by the resistance.
At the resistance's headquarters, they are introduced to future versions of Wade, Jim, and Tim, along with an army of genetically enhanced Rufus clones. Infiltrating Shego's citadel through the sewers, they meet Monkey Fist with an army of monkey ninjas behind him, Duff Killigan as "The World's Deadliest Golfing Cyborg", and ultimately Drakken, now the muscular sidekick of Shego. The battle rages throughout the compound with Monique, now a member of the resistance, dropping in to save Kim.
In the end, however, the heroes are defeated and brought before Shego, who is about to finish them when Drakken urges her to - as a proper, victorious supervillain should - relate how she did it. As it turns out, her entire plan hinged on transferring Ron to Norway because, for reasons she neither knows nor cares, Kim and Ron are worthy opponents working as a team. Before she can get to the rest of her plan, though, an enraged Ron throws Dr. Drakken across the room and smashes the Time Monkey.
The time stream is snapped back to normal. Ron and Kim go through a time portal to what they were doing at the start of the movie. A time ripple sets things right as Ron never moved to Norway. Nobody, it seems, has retained any memory of their travels in time or the alternate future - although Ron inexplicably proclaims that "I hate meatcakes! ...no idea why I said that."
[edit] Mistakes
- At the point when the villains are going to the future Duff Kiligan doesn't step into the future. The order they go in is Monkey Fist, Shego and then Draken but Duff Kiligan is not shown because he should also have entered the future.
