A sudden split among friends!? Platoon Shikamaru's great crisis (Japanese: イキナリ仲間割れ！？シカマル小隊大ピンチ - Ikinari nakamare!? Shikamaru shōtai daipinchi) is episode 112 of the anime series Naruto. The episode's storyline is from the Sasuke Retrieval manga arc.

With Shikamaru's attack plan in tatters, the team must regroup and rethink its' strategy. Just when it seems that the Sound Four have the team at their mercy, Shikamaru traps them with his Shadow Copy Technique. Sakon breaks his comrades free with a shuriken attack, and Jirobo traps the Leaf ninjas with his Earth Release Barrier: Dungeon Chamber of Nothingness. The remaining members of the Sound Four leave, taking Sasuke with them, while Team Shikamaru is now enclosed in a earthen dome which absorbs their chakra and regenerates when damaged.
The team tries various techniques to try and break free, but none of them work. Shikamaru, however, does not lose his cool and continues to formulate new escape strategies. His calmness and apparent betrayal nearly drive his team to mutiny, until he discovers the part of the barrier that regenerates the slowest. Then he tells Choji to use his Human Bullet Tank technique to break through the wall, freeing the team.
