A Roller Skating Jam Named "Saturdays" is the first single from De La Soul's second album, De La Soul Is Dead. The song was very well received and raised expectations for the album. Featuring a guest appearance from Q-Tip and vocalist Vinia Mojica, "Saturdays" was one of the last Native Tongue collaborations and the last time that Tribe would appear on a De La Soul album, although Dave would later perform the hook to Tribe's "Award Tour", in 1993.
