A River Sutra

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A River Sutra is a collection of stories written by Gita Mehta. There are some themes that remain through all of the stories including renunciation, love, and isolation. In addition, the narrator, which is only very briefly discussed, is unable to understand the various elements to each of the stories. The net effect of this is to inspire more thought from the reader in making their own interpretations.[1]
