A Matter of Minutes is an episode from The Twilight Zone.

Adam Arkin and his wife Karen Austin wake up one day to find everything has stopped. Apparently they have discovered a rip in the fabric of time, but not just any rip—Adolph Caesar confronts them as the supervisor of the maintenance of time. Showing them exactly how time is maintained, he reveals to them a new understanding of how the universe works.
