"A Little Bit" is the second and final single from Jessica Simpson's sophomore album, Irresistible. The single is probably most known for being a theme song of Bally Total Fitness.

[edit] Song information

"A Little Bit" was penned by Kara DioGuardi, Steve Morales and D. Siegelk. As mentioned above, in 2001, the song was used for a commercial for Bally Total Fitness. In this rhythmic-dance hybrid, Miss Simpson is fed up with her boyfriend and wants to give him a piece of her mind. She has an idea of what he's thinking and apologizes in advance as she doesn't want to walk away from the relationship or make him mad. Yet, she reaffirms her stance as she tells him that all she needs is "a little bit" more than him as she sings, "A little more me, a little less you...baby at the end of the day, a little bit goes a long way." The song was covered by UK-based singer Rosie Ribbons in 2002[1].

[edit] Music video

The music video of the song follows the sexy image that Jessica had created for herself in her previous video, "Irresistible". In this video, Miss Simpson can be seen dancing on a futuristic dance floor with sexy, but relatively unusual clothing. The video is also noted for featuring dancing from Ashlee Simpson, Jessica's sister.
