A Kiss in the Dreamhouse is the fifth studio album released by Siouxsie & the Banshees. The album was issued by Polydor Records in the UK in 1982. The album is part of what critics and fans refer to as the Banshees' "experimentation" phase, as this album contains chimes, strings, synthesizers, many vocal overdubs and the occasional guitar. The album was written, produced and arranged by Siouxsie & the Banshees. It was both a critical and commercial success peaking on the UK albums chart at number eleven. They claimed it to be their personal best, until 1988 and the release of Peepshow.
