A Jagged Era is the debut album by American R&B group Jagged Edge, released in 1997 (see 1997 in music). It peaked at number 104 on the Billboard 200 album charts. It has been certified Gold by the RIAA, with over 500,000 copies sold in the US. The album also spawned two moderately successful singles, The Way That You Talk and Gotta Be.
