A Good Heart
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A Good Heart was a popular single by Feargal Sharkey.
Written by Maria McKee about her relationship with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers keyboard player Benmont Tench and produced by Eurythmics David A. Stewart this was former Undertones singer Feargal Sharkey's first solo single. A UK Number One single for two weeks in November 1985 it fared less well in the USA peaking at #74 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Sharkey followed up the single with the Tench written You Little Thief, this time about Tench's relationship with McKee. Ironically Sharkey placed them next to each other on his debut album.
