A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving is one of many prime-time animated TV specials based upon the popular comic strip Peanuts, by Charles M. Schulz. It was originally aired on the ABC network in 1973.
On Thanksgiving, the gang ends up having dinner at the ping-pong table with toast, popcorn, and desserts which upsets Peppermint Patty. The dinner was catered by Snoopy and Woodstock after Peppermint Patty invited herself, as well as her friends Marcie and Franklin, to Charlie Brown's place for dinner. Despite much turmoil, Thanksgiving ends happily for the group with Charlie Brown's grandmother inviting the whole gang to her condo for dinner. Meanwhile, Snoopy cooks a traditional turkey dinner for himself and Woodstock.
The special won an Emmy Award in 1974.
