"A Change Would Do You Good" is the fourth single to be released from Sheryl Crow's 1996 self-titled album. It is preceded by "If It Makes You Happy", "Everyday Is A Winding Road", and "Hard to Make A Stand". Several versions of the music video were broadcast. The first video features Crow standing in the middle of a street playing a guitar while a second Crow is throwing her possessions (and eventually herself) out of an apartment building window. The second video shows Crow similar to the character Samantha from the TV show "Bewitched". She switches around characters' lives, such as a cab driver and teen garage band singer. Notable guests in this video are Ellen DeGeneres, Andy Dick, and Saturday Night Live veteran Molly Shannon. The final video is taken from a VH1 live performance.
