[edit] Pokémanics anon

If you are interested in Pokémon articles, you may like to join the Pokémon Collaborative Project, a group of editors who work together to improve Pokémon articles. You can help with our current collaborations (which are Pokémon and Marshtomp) and find out more information on editting articles, as well as discuss Poké-related information. We hope to see you there! Highway Rainbow Sneakers 16:56, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pokémon articles

Right, first of all, thank you for the kind things you said, I'm just a regular user (you'll be able to join Esperanza soon methinks). Anyway, at May (Pokémon), the best solution to these problems is to remove all shipping comments and regards to May's age. They are purely speculation, and don't benefit the article. In regards to the image, I think AManInBlack removed it because it's too similar to the lead image (both images are artwork for the games).

Brandon (Pokémon)was redirected because there is like one on him "He's a playable character....". He's not in the anime, he has no defining characteristics, he isn't even called Brandon in the manga. So redirecting immediately methinks. Hope I've helped. Highway Rainbow Sneakers 14:57, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Freespace revert

Yikes!! Thanks for pointing that out, that was a total mistake on my part, I didn't mean to hit revert at all. I think what happened was, I saw one little bit of nonsense in there, then went to see when it was added in, forgot I was looking at an old version, then edited that one, effectively reverting everything else too. Don't worry, I had no intention of changing all those other things. -Goldom ‽‽‽ 08:31, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Order in Freespace

Great work on GTD Orion, which should now serve as an example for the other Freespace articles. For a future project, maybe we could split Descent: Freespace into 2 articles to give Freespace 2 the proper recognition it deserves. GoldDragon 01:26, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

Your work so far is fine. Initially, I thought that the FreeSpace wiki had already beaten us to the punch. On the other hand, most of the work there is not original since its rather ripped from the manual or techroom or spoilers, and it seems to function primarily as a strategy guide instead of an encyclopedia. I began noticing that most other videogame-specific wikis do this too, so that still creates a need for the original wiki. I might consider using the FreeSpace wiki as a reference for wiki articles, what do you think? GoldDragon 17:46, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
Other Freespace wiki "strategy guide" material could make the transition to wikipedia ok; namely the guide's take on the GTVA Colossus's "spread out weaponry" translates to "good all-around ship" and/or "excellent against smaller ships, less so against equivalent vessels". I'll definitely be working on that today.
Speaking of the SD Lucifer's characteristics in Freespace 2, I wonder if there is any way to make "lots of hitpoints" more encyclopedic, since that clearly sounds like a strategy guide? I'm not sure that hitpoints=armour. That is sometimes the problem when we try to put some semblance of the Lucifer's "history" in Freespace 2, the game designers likely put the Lucifer in for fan service (custom missions). Other than that, it doesn't make an appearance and there isn't much explanation to why the Shivans stopped making the Lucifer and/or its super shield. GoldDragon 17:53, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Query on removal of Pokémon images on May (Pokémon)

Fair use issues. See this. The same's been done with all the character articles, with the generic Pokémon images either being removed, or replaced with a screenshot of the particular character's Pokémon. cheers, The Raven's Apprentice (Talk|Contribs) 13:24, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Poké Ball

You made an error in this article on your revision dated 10 September 2006 at 02:41 UTC. In your edit, you mistook the Pokémon Seaking for the word 'seeking'. I have made the change where appropriate. -- A. Exeunt 02:48, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

Ah, thanks. I've added that to my exception list. You learn something new every day! :)

I was pretty sure it was a misunderstanding, Saturn Yoshi is a trusted user. I'm leaving soon, could you give talking to? Highway Daytrippers 07:15, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re. May's Age

Checked, and reverted. All the ep guide says is "May, a 10-year-old trainer". The point is -- Was it ever mentioned in the anime? If yes, and in that very episode, feel free to put the ref right back. But if not, that's just the same case as all those bios. Remember, the anime is supposed to source all this info. Cheers, The Raven's Apprentice (Talk|Contribs) 06:18, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, that is what I meant. As for the episode, being able to watch it's the main problem. Just watch it again, if you can, or forget about it. Someone is bound to see the episode and add it to the article. Eventually. Cheers, The Raven's Apprentice (Talk|Contribs) 14:04, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hello, hello

I can understand how it can be upsetting and such when you have the info and no one wants to listen. It's quite alright in the way you responded.

Now for fonts and colors in signatures... For colors, I go here. I choose the worded colors because it's easier to tell someone else what the color is. The code fo this would be: <font color="blue">WORD</font> . I used blue in the example but you can use any color you wish. This is what the example would look like: WORD .

For fonts the code is: <font face="comic sans ms">Comic Sans MS</font> . I used Comic Sans MS in the example. The result is: Comic Sans MS .

For both you can combine: <font color="blue" face="comic sans ms">Comic Sans MS</font> . Result: Comic Sans MS.

Now for a signature. In order for you signature to take people to your Userpage and such, you'll have to link it in the signature bar under preferences. So, let's say you wanted your sig to take someone to your Userpage, but you wanted the letter "t" to link to your talk page. This is how you would link it: A. Exeunt. This is how it would look: A. Exeunt. Note: the letter "t" is bold because this is your Talk page, otherwise it would look like the others. To add colors and fonts, you place the code after the vertical bar (|) in the links. So let's make the name in Times New Roman with a red color and have the Talk page link blue.

This would be the code: <font color="red" face ="times new roman">A. Exeun</font><font color="blue" face = "times new roman">t</font>.

And the result: A. Exeunt. Again the "t" is bold because this is your Talk page.

You would place this code (or one of your choosing, of course) in the signature bar under your preferences. Then click on "Raw Signature" and Save. You can create links to any of you sub-pages you have as well and use as many colors as you want. But the more links and colors you use, the longer the sig will look in "wiki markup" and could cause someone to complain. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Sorry for this long winded explanation. I hope this helps. -SaturnYoshi THE VOICES 03:08, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
