A. J. Demarest Middle School

A.J. Demarest Middle School is a middle school located in Hoboken, New Jersey, across from Church Square Park. It is run by the Hoboken board of education, unlike Hoboken Charter School and Elysian Charter School, which are public but based on a charter. The current principal of Demarest Middle School is Elizabeth Falco[1]. The current guidence teacher is Ms. Angelone[2]. The school was named for educator A. J. Demerast, who was born in 1858[3]; being a middle school, it has grades 5-8[4]. The school's students are 67% hispanic, 21% black, and 18% white[5].
