The A1 Team Portugal was the Portuguese team for A1 Grand Prix, an international racing series. A1 Team Portugal became the first country in continental Europe to unveil its A1GP car in May 30, 2005.

The A1 Team Portugal team owners were the well know football player, Luís Figo, and coach Carlos Queiroz. The team's operations were run by CEO Luís Vicente, manager of the Fundação Luís Figo.
[edit] Team Manager and Drivers
The main driver for the portuguese team was 2005 British F3 International Series champion Álvaro Parente, who took part in the all but the season finale, which Cesar Campanico drove in, and João Urbano was the reserve driver. Pedro Lamy had originally been appointed as main driver, but never took part in any race. The team manager was Trevor Carlin, who put his Carlin Motorsport team in charge of technical support.
