[edit] Description

The missile can be guided by either a laser, or by semi-active millimeter wavelength radar homing. Radar homing is the preferred homing technique - allowing fully automatic engagement. The missile is long and thin and is spun in flight. Propulsion is via two rocket nozzles on the side of the missile. A window on the rear of the missile enables laser beam following. The missile is supersonic flying at an average speed of 400 m/s.

It is currently only launched from the 9P157-2 tank destroyer, which is based on the BMP-3 chassis. The system was accepted into service in 2004
