[edit] Redirect at Micky Mouse

Hi,

it was inappropriate to change the redirect from Micky Mouse to point to Performo Toy Company instead of Mickey Mouse. Any reasonable reader would expect to be redirected to the main article about the Disney cartoon character. I've reverted the change.--Eloquence* 16:12, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Even though I don't agree, I can understand why it would seem innappropriate. However, the character Micky Mouse was designed before the Disney cartoon character and is often mistakenly seen as the source of inspiration for Mickey Mouse. I think it should be fair to at least mention something about it on the Mickey Mouse page, or create a disambiguation page since it's a common spelling mistake, and not the original name of Disney's character.
