From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 86.27.55.184). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.

When you edit pages:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my Talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia.

[edit] UN and Israel

Please see the talk page for my explanation.

For the record: Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. -- Avi 21:31, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Please refrain from removing content from Wikipedia, as you did to Israel and the United Nations. It is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -- Avi 21:34, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Take a look, it is well-sourced and documented, and it is not POV. Read the talk page as well as the citations. -- Avi 21:56, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Both are blocked for WP:3RR, you for 12 and Avi for eight. Jaranda wat's sup 19:58, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

I am not going to have a look, I am not really active at wikipedia anymore as I have come to the conclusion that the concept is nice, but does not work. -- Kim van der Linde at venus 21:12, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:Harassment

Please stop following editors around and reverting all of their edits; it is considered harassment. Jayjg (talk) 22:35, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Israeli air force

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Israeli Air Force. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. -- Avi 04:27, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
