[edit] Welcome

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 86.143.244.193). Logging in does not require any personal details. There are many other benefits for logging in to Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can type {{helpme}} on this page and an experienced Wikipedian will be around to answer any questions you may have.

Please note these points:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view to edit the article; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted texts, advertisement messages, and texts that are not related to that article. Both adding such unreasonable information and editing articles maliciously are considered vandalism.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, ask me on my Talk page – I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia.

[edit] Julia Goldsworthy

Hi. Your edits to Julia Goldsworthy do not appear to meet Wikipedia's requirement of objective, unbiased articles - particularly not the link which is to a biased web story with no attempt to provide balance. Please familiarise yourself with Wikipedia's neutral point-of-view policy before making further edits of this kind. You should also be aware that this edit has been discussed at Talk:Julia Goldsworthy, and you should engage with that discussion, and go along with the consensus it reaches, rather than making your addition again. Thanks. —Whouk (talk) 11:50, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

I see you have repeated your edit. Since Ms Goldsworthy was not incommunicado during her appearance on this programme, then the allegations aimed at George Galloway do not apply in the same way. If you are able to explain why her appearing on this programme is neglecting her constituency in a way that, for example Boris Johnson filming his "The Dream of Rome" TV programme, William Hague writing a rather well-researched book on Pitt the Younger or Ken Clarke sitting as non-executive chairman for British American Tobacco are not, then please explain in the relevant talk page, otherwise it just looks like POV pushing as you haven't made similar statements on any of the pages on MPs with large entries on the Register of Members' Interests. If you insert this biased content again you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Just zis Guy you know? 13:31, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
Please note the 3RR, and that you have reverted three times in the last two hours. I refered to "fake reference" by your typing "[1]" in the text. This doesn't create a reference unless you actually produce a link. I'll take your word for it that that was error rather than malice. May I also point out the existence of the "discussion" tab for discussing edits, rather than just repeatedly making the same edit again and again. Whouk and myself have both requested you discuss the logic behind your edits, and why you have singled out Ms Goldsworthy in particular for your complaint about MPs extra-curricular activites. [edit] Bias

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia, which you are more than welcome to do. — Knowledge Seeker 18:09, 9 April 2006 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future. The duration of the block[1] is 12 hours. Here are the reverts in question[2]. (ESkog)(Talk) 11:33, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
