[edit] January 5 Vandalism of Finglish

Please do not add profane lanuage to Wikipedia articals.

--Well guess what, you make me sick with your censoring shit. Fuck off: Fuck, Shit, Motherfucker, how's that for you? Now get the fuck out and read the Free speech article.

--What you did is considered vandalism. If I go and write Fuck on the side of a wall it is considered vandalism. If you write Fuck in a Wikipedia artical it is considered vandalism. I used to vandalise Wikipedia my self, until I realized that it does absolutly no good. What is so special about writing something funny on an artical for it to be deleted later by some Wikipedia nerd?--Holocron 15:54, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

--Hey, if you'd see for yourself, I didn't vandalize, I removed the asterisks. Did I seem like a vandal? Oh, please. This is a misunderstandment. And I think it's quite unusual that you think that removing poor "censor" attempts from mild everyday expressions makes me a vandal, since you said that "What is so special about writing something funny on an artical for it to be deleted later by some Wikipedia nerd?"; what I merely did is make it look more clear, like "f*g" -> "fag". If you dislike it, I'd rather propose a new template for weak-minded people, something like "Note: This article contains profanity..." :)--84.249.252.211 18:46, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

--I actually agree with you; I think the administrators have way too many rules. The only reason I told you not to use profane language was because it was my first day. I thought that the admins wouldn't allow for use of "bad" language. If this were true then they wouldn't have articals on swearwords. I'm sorry for the warning, feel free to delete it if you want. I'm not really like the other users here, I don't spend my entire day reading policies and rules.--Holocron 16:22, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

--No problem, heh.--84.249.252.211 16:27, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

Thanks.--Holocron 16:44, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

If you continue to use insulting language in your edit summaries I shall block you. As to the Agricola Church, according to Emporis it is certainly the tallest building in Helsinki (the only taller structure being a TV tower) and I have been able to find no taller buildings in the rest of Finland. -- Necrothesp 17:45, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

I don't consider myself an "insulting man", but rather as an extremalistic contributor, so to say. I think the "tallest building in Finland" is still quite a corny way to express it. I also believe that "building" means anything made of brick, wood etc., it's a damned excuse to seperate towers from it. CN Tower's still considered to be the tallest building? I can put my head out of my room's window, tilt it to the left and see a 122 m tall communications tower, 1km away, in the suburb of Varissuo, a silly city called Turku =\. It's still a building, and CN Tower's a building, too, so what makes it different? I'm surprised Pääskyvuoren Linkkitorni is not listed even listed on Emperis, but listed on SkyScraperPage.com if you need more info. The tallest building in Finland would therefore be Näsinneula, of a (ridiculous) height of 168 meters. --84.249.252.211 18:44, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Nevertheless, TV towers and masts are not generally considered buildings in the strictest sense of the word (something "like a house" according to the Oxford English Dictionary), but are instead considered "structures". If you look at our entry for the CN Tower, you will see "The CN Tower is the tallest free-standing structure on land in the world", not the tallest building - see also this article, which explains why the CN Tower is not a building. -- Necrothesp 01:04, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cartoons

I myself believe that the holocost has happened. It is not my point. What I am saying there is, the Europians do not let some people say: There is no Holocost! But they can insult Islam Prophet. I know that there are plenty of evidence about the Holocost. But the point is: if someone believe that your evidence is not so strong, he should be able to say it, if you are supporting 'freedom of speech'. Can you see my point?

I have no negative feelings about Jews, some of my good friends amoung them. What I do emphasis on is the hipocricy of Europians. Resid Gulerdem 11:40, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pure Pwnage

I wanted to rewrite it, but I haven't seen it yet, so I didn't want to be spoilt. So I reverted it for you to rewrite. Have fun! :P -- infinity0 14:24, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

Oh, the complaint is it's too long. You wrote about 6 paragraphs, but the other episodes are only two. Try deleting the bits about the second half of the episode (so as to avoid spoilers) and delete unnecessary details. -- infinity0 14:25, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

Meh, kk. I'll comment out the last 5 paragraphs, so only the first is visible, but anyone interested can edit it in the source code. How's that? -- infinity0 14:36, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

Please do not remove content from Wikipedia; it is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. You're correct in that the profanity shouldn't be censored, but that means you should add the words back, not remove the entire section. --Rory096 00:33, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

I can see where you're coming from, believe me. But please read WP:WWIN#Wikipedia_is_not_a_paper_encyclopedia. "Wikipedia is not a paper encyclopedia. This means that there is no practical limit to the number of topics we can cover other than verifiability and the other points presented on this page."

You seem to be a decent contributor, but you have to learn to not get so stressed. Anyways, If you feel Clan Gaming doesn't belong there, bring it up on the talk page(I saw you have.) and I'm sure soon other users will reply and possibly a consensus can be reached about something. Maybe a new article specifically about the CS online community? Perhaps rename and rewrite Counter-Strike culture to Counter Strike online community. Or maybe just merge the entire Clan Gaming section into Counter-Strike culture. The point is, If you want to get something done about it, speak out. Bring it to an admins attention or something. You can't just go removing content from articles without discussion.

Thanks. :) --Shizane 10:30, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
