Stop This IP has been blocked from editing Wikipedia for a period of one year after CheckUser (Dmcdevit) confirmed it had been used by 17 different sockpuppets of Frogsprog. --  Netsnipe  ►  18:39, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | unblock | contribs) asked to be unblocked, but one or more administrators has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators can also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). This unblock request continues to be visible. Do not replace this message with another unblock request.

Request reason: "It's a shared IP! 8 flats (apartments) use this connection you can't block the IP just block the user name!82.43.244.187 13:05, 9 October 2006 (UTC)"

Decline reason: "Sorry, but we can't tell if you're telling us the truth or not. You can blame "Dan McDermott" (aka Frogsprog) for your predicament. We're not unblocking this IP address because "Dan" (if that indeed is his real name) was caught red-handed using 17 different abusive accounts from this address and we're not going to tolerate it anymore. --  Netsnipe  ►  14:23, 9 October 2006 (UTC)"

Administrators: This template should be removed when the block has expired, or after 2 days in the case of blocks of 1 week or longer.

Request reason: "but it seems more logical to block the 17 offenders rather than an IP used by many different people does it not? 82.43.244.187 15:56, 9 October 2006 (UTC)"

Decline reason: "We've already blocked them all, but Frogsprog keeps on creating new ones and finding them is labour intensive so we've decided to block your IP address to stop him altogether from creating new accounts. He's wasted enough of our time already and there's nothing more you can say to convince us. Anyway, there's nothing stopping you from reading Wikipedia, only from editing it. Good bye. --  Netsnipe  ►  16:21, 9 October 2006 (UTC)"

This user's request to have the autoblock on their IP address lifted has been DECLINED.

Used by multiple abusive Frogsprog sockpuppets. Confirmed by CheckUser Dmcdevit(as said above.. this is a shared IP. I can see that other residents have had the same problem here

  • Blocking admin: not provided.
  • Decline reason:

Not an autoblock, this address is directly blocked per chronic, abusive sockpuppetry, as confirmed via CheckUser. At this point, we can confirm that the address has been used for intense abuse -- you may wish to take up these problems with your flatmates, landlord, or ISP, to report abuse. -- Luna Santin 19:28, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

Note: declined unblock requests may only be removed after two days or when the block has expired.
