79th Regiment of Foot may refer to:
- 79th Regiment of Foot, formed in 1757. It moved to India in 1758 and saw service in the 2nd Carnatic War. In 1762 the regiment took part in the successful invasion of Manila, capital of the Spanish-controlled Philippines
- 79th Regiment of Foot (Royal Liverpool Volunteers), saw service in the West Indies during the American Revolution
- 79th (The Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders (Regiment of Foot), took part in the battles of Waterloo and Alma
