Thank you for your interest in Wikipedia, and particularly in the Miss Universe article. You are encouraged (but not required) to register, so that we can put a sort-of name with a face (connect what you do with more than just an IP address) as well as allow you to modify preferences and track your own contributions, watch pages, and many other useful things. Also highly recommended (virtually required) is that you sign your comments on discussion pages, whether or not you register. You can do this very easily by placing four tildes after your comment on the discussion page. If you choose to register first, that will place your registered name (which you choose, of course) and the date and time at the end of your comment. If not, it will place your IP address and the date and time at the end of your comment. Either way, it is much preferred that we know who is talking when someone leaves a comment. Unsigned notes may be popular with kidnappers and bandits, but not with Wikipedia. You're welcome to continue to contribute to Wikipedia, and don't forget to be bold! --User:Cromwellt|Talk 21:03, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
