[edit] Your edits to Spanish, Portuguese and Italian empires

I wish to give you the benefit of the doubt here, but your edits to the above articles are inappropriate at best. Changing Italian Army to German Army because you believe the Italians were puppets of the Germans is wrong. There was no war between Free French forces and the Spanish. The Canary Islands were not invaded. What exactly are you trying to do here at Wikipedia? Gsd2000 02:50, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Spanish Empire

This is total nonsense: "Unfortunatly for the Spanish, after Germany's defeat, the new Free French regime that had been set up in Paris and her fellow Western Allies believed that the Spanish influence in French Morroco was a threat, and thus decided to remove said threat by force. Though there are debates about whether or not this "threat" was real or imagened, it is indisputable that in a one-sided, bloody campaign between Spain and her allies on one side and the better trained, better led, better equiped, and expereinced Western Allied forces would see Spain sufferseveral crushing military defeats, despite the aid of Portugal, German facist fugitives, and unofficially some of the Soviet power bloc (not out of fondness of the facist regime of Franco, but due to the fact that they saw a Western Allied presense in Morocco to be a bigger threat). By July of 1946 it was over, with Spanish Morrocco, Spanish Sahara, andthe Canary Islands under occupation, and with Spain itself under threat from two sides: an attack from the North from France, and an attack from the South from British Gibraltar. Spain was allowed to keep the entirety of her colonial and national territory, but was forced at proverbial (and in some cases literal) gunpoint to cede vast amounts of military equipment, which would hamper her later attempts to keep her colonies, and to be forced to accept vast amounts of Western Allied troops, thus limiting Spain's power in her own colonies."

[edit] History of Schleswig-Holstein

Once again, you have added factual inaccuracies to an article. "However, after WWII, the Danes for a sizable amount of the early Cold War, especially in the 40's and 50's after WWII, almost completly administrated the portion of Schleswig-Holstein that was doled out to the Western Allies after Germany was carved up. The Danish influence weakened in the 60's and by the time of the 80's, the Danes had completly ceased their administration therem and afterward Southern Schleswig and Holstein were returned to the German Republic, where they remain to this day."
